These connectors are mainly used in telephone and ADSL connection from BT telephone line to ADSL modem, though a ADSL filter.
RJ-45
These connectors are mainly used with Computer Networks and they can be either a straight connection (pin-to-pin) or a crossed connection (it is used much less and nowadays there are apparatus that are capable to use a Straight connection in place of a Crossed one and they automatically adapt internally)
USB
These connection are mainly used in computers and appliances connected to it
BNC
These connectors are mainly used in the Radio Transmission Industry and also CCTV and other similar application where a tight fast-fit is needed in conjunction with the use of a coaxial cable, mainly for transporting video-composite signals
