Security

Normal Internet communications are generally not protected, since you are not releasing any personal information with exception of (maybe) your name when a website leaves in your computer a 'cookie' (small file recording your visit to a site).

In this case it is theoretically possible that anybody with the right technical knowledge and with the right equipment may access the communications between you and the site you are visiting for whatever intent.

When purchasing goods and you send your transaction details with MSelectrical websites, you will be in a 256bit encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) server.

That means the Secure Server will encrypt your personal details for all the duration of the purchasing.

Transactions are not made online, you are only sending your encrypted details in the Secure Server. Once we receive confirmation of your order, we will then recover your details and do a print out for processing your order.

If you find that your browser cannot connect to the Secure Servers, please e-mail us - use contacts page

Thank you for your business

Please note: when purchasing goods from any of our websites, you will be redirected to the Secure Servers (256bit SSL).
Also note that you are not actually doing a transaction on-line, but only leaving your details in the Secure Servers where they will be encrypted for yours and our security.
Then we will collect them, do the transaction at our premises using our merchant terminal and all data will be treated with care and archived at our premises.

Credit card security

The shopping cart that we use may not show the secure transaction "padlock" symbol on your browser. This worries many people into thinking that they are giving their credit card details to an unsecure site. This is absolutely not true. The shopping cart software uses a complex coding system to store your order, and we download it and uncode it in the shop. This system is as secure as the ones showing the padlock in your browser, and in many ways even more secure. While leaving your card details, you will certainly see on your browser address HTTPS and not HTTP. That 'S' means you are within a secure server.
Happy buying!
